How long do they last?

Up to 18 days, often the only reason they need to be removed is that your nails grow out. If your nails need a tidy up you can simply file the edge. We also provide spare strips in the package if any of the nails are ever damaged.

Will they damage my nails?

Our gel wraps are gentle on the nails and require no chemicals to remove, which means they won't damage your nails. To remove just lift and peel (no acetone required), and you're ready for your next mani!

Will they fit my nails?

Our wraps are designed to fit any size or shape, and we include 10 sizes per hand in every pack. Our gel wraps are also stretchy which means you can gently stretch them so they fit perfectly on a slightly larger nail. You will always have some leftover gel wraps after your manicure for touch-ups or to mix and match your own Istana looks!

Do I need a UV or LED lamp?

Yes, our gel wraps are semi-cured and flexible for a perfect application. You will need a lamp to harden the wrap. We sell a 'Starter Kit' which contains a LED lamp, cuticle pusher and nail file, if you don't have one then you can add this to your order.

How long will the wraps last out of the packet?

Gel polish wraps are light-sensitive and will harden with prolonged light exposure. If you want to prevent any unused or open wraps from hardening then simply store them in their light protective pouch. We also recommend using some sticky tape to seal the pouch again and then store this in a dark, moisture-free, room temperature environment.

What’s the difference between Istana Gel Wraps and standard fake nails?

Istana Gel Wraps are semi-cured, real gel polish that you stick on and cure, which means you keep your real nails and get the professional finish of a salon manicure. They need to adhere onto your natural nail so they do not lengthen your nail like fake nails.

I have short nails, will these look good?

Yes! Our nail wraps look amazing on all nail lengths. Because they create a hard protective barrier over your natural nails, you will also more easily be able to grow your nails as they will no longer break or shorten due to nail biting!
